Welcome to the Glasgow University Business Club (GUBC). By becoming a member or participating in any of our events, activities, or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. 1. Membership

1.1 Eligibility: Membership is open to all current students of the University of Glasgow. Non-students may be allowed participation in certain events with prior approval from the Executive Committee.

1.2 Fees: Annual membership fees are determined by the Executive Committee and must be paid in full to access certain events, resources, and networking opportunities.

1.3 Termination of Membership: GUBC reserves the right to terminate or suspend a membership without prior notice in cases of inappropriate behavior, breach of these terms, or any actions that negatively impact the club or its members.

2. Events and Activities

2.1 Event Registration: Participation in GUBC events requires registration, which must be completed by the advertised deadline. For limited capacity events, spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

2.2 Cancellations: GUBC reserves the right to cancel or postpone any event without notice. In such cases, GUBC will do its best to notify registered participants as soon as possible.

2.3 Conduct at Events: Members and participants are expected to behave respectfully towards one another and follow the guidelines set forth for each event. Any disruptive or disrespectful behavior will result in removal from the event and possible membership termination.

3. Use of Website

3.1 Content Ownership: All content, including text, images, videos, and other materials on the GUBC website, is owned by GUBC unless otherwise stated. Unauthorized use of this content is prohibited.

3.2 User Responsibilities: Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login information and for any activity that occurs under their account.

3.3 External Links: The GUBC website may include links to third-party websites. GUBC is not responsible for the content or practices of these external sites.

4. Data Protection and Privacy

4.1 Personal Data: GUBC collects and stores personal information such as names, email addresses, and contact details solely for the purpose of managing memberships, event registration, and communications. We handle personal data in accordance with GDPR regulations.

5. Sponsorship and Collaboration

5.1 Sponsorship Opportunities: GUBC may enter into sponsorship agreements with third parties. Sponsors are subject to separate terms and conditions agreed upon in their contract.

5.2 Collaborations: GUBC may collaborate with other societies, businesses, or external organizations to host events or provide services. Members participating in collaborative events must also adhere to the terms and conditions of the partnering organizations.

6. Liability

6.1 Event Liability: GUBC is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage incurred during or as a result of club activities or events. Participants are responsible for their own safety and belongings.

6.2 Third-Party Services: GUBC is not responsible for any issues arising from third-party services or products promoted through its website, events, or sponsorships.
